1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Family Central (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users who have registered an account and users who access the App without registration.

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, or that you are using the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of Service

Family Central is a family management mobile application available on Android (and iOS where applicable). The App provides tools to help families stay organized, including but not limited to:

3. Accounts & Registration

To use the full features of Family Central you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

5. User Content

The App allows you to create, upload, and share content including text, images, audio recordings, files, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain full ownership of any User Content you create.

By uploading or sharing User Content within the App, you grant Family Central a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you and your family group.

6. Premium Subscription

Certain features of Family Central are available exclusively through a Premium subscription ("Premium"). Premium is offered on a monthly or yearly basis and is managed through Google Play's in-app purchase system via RevenueCat.

If you delete your account while holding an active Premium subscription, please cancel it from Google Play first to avoid being charged for future renewal periods.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

In summary: we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for advertising or commercial purposes. Your family data is yours and is only accessible to members of your family circle.

8. Intellectual Property

Family Central and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the App's source code, design, logos, icons, text, and graphics — are owned by Family Central and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates or interacts with third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, Giphy, OpenStreetMap, and others as described in our Privacy Policy §8. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party services. Links or integrations with third-party services do not constitute our endorsement of those services.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting your account via Settings → Delete Account in the App. See our Account Deletion page for instructions. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination: all your data will be permanently deleted from our servers; provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability clauses) shall survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you via a push notification and/or an in-app banner. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.

Continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Spain, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.
